The Vajrayogini Buddhist Center continues to hold classes on Buddhist philosophy and meditation at Unity of Fairfax, 2854 Hunter Mill Road, Oakton, on Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m. Beginners to Buddhism and meditation are welcome. Suggested $10 donation.

A free T'ai Chi Beginners Practice is held every Saturday morning from 8-9 a.m., outdoors, at McLean Central Park, behind the Dolley Madison Library on Ingleside Avenue. Leadership Fairfax Inc. (LFI), a nonprofit organization, is seeking candidates for its two leadership programs; the Leadership Fairfax Signature program and the Emerging Leaders Institute program. The programs are open to individuals who live or work in Northern Virginia. LFI selects participants each year from the business, government, education and nonprofit sectors of the Northern Virginia area. The application deadline for the Leadership Fairfax Signature Program is June 15. The application deadline for the Emerging Leaders Institute is July 15, 2006.
