Madison's Theatrical Season

Madison's Theatrical Season

Madison High School has experienced a great deal of success and new experiences this year. After putting their Cappies show "Much Ado About Nothing 'with a Mexican twist,'" Madison has been experimenting with showcases directed by seniors such as Cayley Carroll, in which any student is give the opportunity to perform the piece of their choice.

The Evening of One Acts was very successful in February showcasing the directing talents of some of Madison's advanced seniors. For the first time in many years Madison's one act festival entry placed 2nd in a district competition and 3rd at regional competition, higher than any recent year at the school.

Most recently Madison's Theatre Arts II classes entered the Northern Virginia Theatre Festival in March placing 5th overall A year full of fabulous performances, awards, and a pink-haired director only spell success for Madison's upcoming musical "HONK!"
